Loss Mitigation Programs

• Loss Mitigation Guide - ORICS has developed a loss mitigation guide to assist you in your loss mitigation efforts. This guide provides benchmarks for ORICS' loss mitigation options, such as loan modifications and short sales, on insured loans. A lender must obtain prior written consent from ORICS before implementing a loss mitigation option for any insured loan. Please contact our Loss Mitigation Department at 1-800-621-7873 for more information.
• Delegated Approval Program - ORICS supports the Making Homes Affordable Program (MHAP) and in response has created a Delegated Approval Program. This program allows you to streamline your adherence to the terms of your Old Republic credit indemnity insurance policy as you modify insured loans according to the Treasury guidelines under MHAP.
• Reporting for Loss Mitigation - Please contact the ORICS Loss Mitigation Department at (800) 621-7873 prior to using these templates to discuss their implementation.

• Short Sale Request Form - Use this form for short sale considerations. This form, along with all required documentation, should be submitted to lossmitigation@oldrepublicics.com.
•    Proof of Loss Form - All other necessary documentation must be included with this form when submitting a claim.
