Old Republic Home Protection (ORHP)

Founded in California in 1974 as Dependable Home Warranty, Old Republic Home Protection was established as a subsidiary of Old Republic International in 1982. Currently the third largest home warranty company nationwide, Old Republic Home Protection began expanding beyond California in 1995 and now conducts business in numerous states nationwide with new states being added annually.

Old Republic Home Protection's Home Warranty Plan offers Plan Holders comprehensive protection against the high cost of repair or replacement of their home's major systems and appliances. The Standard Home Warranty Plan offers coverage on plumbing, heating, electrical systems and appliances. Appliance coverage includes oven/range, water heater, dishwasher, garbage disposal, trash compactor, and specialty items such as central vacuum systems and built-in jetted bathtub motor and pump. Optional coverage is also available, and varies by state.
